Conophytum plants – last chance to order

C240-2 conophytum pageae small

Dear growers,

there is a last chance to order Conophytum plants as they are now entering dormancy. You can explore the current plant offer in the plant section: https://www.haworthialand.com/product-category/plants/conophytum-plants/. The current plant offer will remain available on the website for only a few more days. It will become available again in September, when the plants begin to grow.

Conophytum seeds are available throughout the year.

At the end of April / beginning of May, a new Haworthia plant offer will be added to the website.

Conophytum plants have started preparing for their rest period. As a result, some Conophytum have already turned pale (whitish or yellowish), and their old leaves are drying out. Most plants are still colourful (green, reddish, or yellowish), but already slightly wrinkled.

The pace of this process varies depending on the species, but within about two weeks, the new bodies will be enclosed in a dry sheath.

If you prefer not to buy plants that appear dry, it is better to wait until August–September. However, if you decide to order now, plant them after arrival but do not water them too much especially if it is too hot. During very hot weather, a light early-morning or evening misting (simulating dew) can have a beneficial effect.

Together with Conophytum plant offer there is still also seed offer of Conophytum, rare Lithops (including cultivars), Haworthia and a few more others: https://www.haworthialand.com/product-category/seeds/
